With our new Presentation During Issuance workflow, TrustiD introduces an optional verification step before credentials are issued. This allows issuers to validate possession, trust level, or eligibility directly with the recipient’s wallet or identity agent prior to credential creation.
Why It Matters:
Ensures the recipient is actively engaged, avoiding blind issuance
Enables dynamic credential conditions based on real-time proof
Perfect for high-risk credentials like mobile driver licenses (mDL), financial credentials, or government IDs
How It Works
The credential issuer sends a verification request (e.g. proof of wallet DID or identity claim)
The wallet responds with verifiable data (e.g. DID Auth or credential presentation)
Upon validation, TrustiD proceeds with credential issuance seamlessly
This process eliminates issuance misfires, improves recipient targeting, and raises the bar for privacy-preserving issuance flows.
